Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you might want to know before your visit — and if you don't find your answer here, just reach out.
What are combo appointments?
Our combo services are the most popular appointments at Karpusha Beauty ✨
By combining brows and lashes in one session, clients leave looking naturally polished, refreshed, and more confident — often without needing daily makeup. It's the perfect low-maintenance beauty routine with long-lasting results.
How long do brow and lash results last?
Most brow laminations, lash lifts, and combo services last around 4–8 weeks depending on your natural hair cycle, lifestyle, and aftercare.
Lash extension refills are available within 2–2.5 weeks after your appointment (up to 17 days inclusive) to maintain the best retention and shape.
Will my results look natural?
Yes — natural-looking, refined results are our signature style. We focus on enhancing your features in a soft, personalized way that still feels completely like you.
Which artist should I book with?
All artists at Karpusha Beauty are trained in the studio's techniques and approach to natural-looking beauty.
You can choose based on service specialty, pricing tier, availability, or simply the artist whose vibe feels right for you ✨
Will brow lamination damage my brows?
Healthy brows always come first at Karpusha Beauty. We use carefully selected professional products, customized timing, and gentle European-inspired techniques designed to maintain the integrity and long-term health of your natural brow hairs.
Do lash lifts work on straight lashes?
Yes — lash lifts are especially popular for naturally straight or downward-growing lashes. Results are fully customized based on your natural lashes and desired look.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
For the best brow results, we recommend avoiding tweezing, trimming, or shaping your brows for at least 3 weeks before your appointment whenever possible.
Please also arrive with clean brows and lashes and minimal eye makeup if possible.
How should I care for my brows and lashes after the appointment?
Proper aftercare helps maintain longer-lasting, healthier results. We recommend:
- Avoiding excessive heat, steam, and oils for the first 24 hours after lamination or lash lift services
- Brushing brows and lashes daily
- Avoiding rubbing or sleeping directly on lash extensions
- Using recommended aftercare products when possible
Your artist will always provide personalized aftercare instructions based on your service.
Do you use gentle products?
Yes. We carefully select high-quality professional products and European-inspired techniques with a strong focus on the long-term health of your natural brows and lashes.
Do you fix work from other salons?
In many cases — yes. We may be able to refresh, correct, or improve previous brow, lash, or permanent makeup work depending on the condition of the hairs, skin, and previous service history.
Please contact us before booking so we can properly assess your situation.
What if I have sensitive skin or allergies?
Please let us know before your appointment about any allergies, sensitivities, previous reactions, or medical conditions. Patch testing is available upon request.
How does the $50 deposit work?
A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to secure every appointment. It's collected during online booking and applied toward the total cost of your service — so at the studio you simply pay the remaining balance.
The deposit applies to both new and returning clients, and it's what reserves your time with your artist.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Appointments may be rescheduled one time without losing your deposit if requested at least 24 hours before your scheduled time. Rescheduling within 24 hours results in deposit forfeiture.
Deposits are non-refundable: cancellations, same-day changes, and missed appointments result in the loss of the deposit and may require a new deposit to book future appointments.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten, modify, or reschedule your appointment to avoid impacting other clients. The full studio policy is available through the Policy link in the footer.
How do I prepare for permanent makeup, and who shouldn't get it?
To prepare for a PMU appointment (powder/ombre brows or lip blush), avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before your session, and avoid intense sun exposure, tanning, or retinol products near the treated area in the week before your appointment. If you take blood-thinning medication, please consult your doctor first.
Permanent makeup is generally not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation (doctor's clearance required), have used Accutane within the last year, are prone to keloid scarring, or have an active skin condition in the treatment area.
Healed results vary by skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare, and may require multiple sessions. If you're unsure whether PMU is right for you, contact us before booking — we're happy to help you decide.
